Joe Prosperi joined the CGMH Board of Directors in 2021 and is a member of the Governance and Hospital Development committees of the Board.

Joe is a founder and Chairman of Capital Health Partners, a leading diversified Canadian provider of pharmaceutical services. He has enjoyed a 20-year career in private equity, working across a wide range of industries.

Joe began his private equity career at Teachers Private Capital, the private equity investment platform for the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan Board and was one of the founding members of Clearspring Capital Partners, a Toronto-based mid-market private equity fund.

Joe has served on the Board of Directors for several companies over the course of his career, including CTVGlobemedia, General Nutrition Centers (GNC), Trimac Transportation, Serta Mattress Company, and Medical Pharmacies Group Ltd. In addition, he has volunteered his time to assist with fundraising efforts for the Pediatric Oncology Group Ontario (POGO), the Odette Cancer Centre at Sunnybrook Hospital and Ducks Unlimited Canada.

Joe earned his MBA at McGill University and is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD.D), having completed the Directors Education Program at the Rotman School of Management.

Joe has a long history in the Collingwood area and has been actively involved in the ski racing community as both an athlete and coach with Alpine Ontario. Joe and his family continue to enjoy all aspects of life in the South Georgian Bay area from their home base in Creemore.

Joe resides in the Township of Clearview.
