What do I need to do to apply for a placement?
- Provide full details of the placement (start and end date of the placement , type of preceptor needed, hours required, learning objectives)
- Education facilities must confirm you are fully vaccinated in line with CGMH's HEALTH AND SAFETY REQUIREMENTS FOR Non-Employee Personnel and have a clean Police Vulnerable Sector Check on file.

If you would like to complete a high school co-op or post-secondary placement with CGMH you must have your placement coordinator email our People & Culture Specialist at blackb@cgmh.on.ca to outline the details of your placement.
CGMH supports our local secondary schools with education days such as Take Our Kids to Work Day and Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) programs, however we're not able to provide co-op placements for secondary students. Please see out Volunteer opportunities here to gain experience in the hospital setting. Volunteers must be 16 years or older and be willing to work a minimum of one 4-hour shift each week.
