Gail Nielsen

Gail joined CGMH as Director, People Experience in 2025.

Gail is an accomplished and people-centred human resources leader with extensive experience strengthening workplace culture and supporting teams across complex healthcare environments. Prior to joining CGMH, she served as Director of People and Culture at Georgian Bay General Hospital, where she led key functions including Occupational Health & Safety, Learning & Engagement, and Data Analytics.

Gail holds an Advanced Human Resources Diploma and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Hospitality Administration, along with certificates in Advanced Investigations and Change Management Foundations.

She is known for her people-first philosophy and open-door leadership style, and is deeply committed to fostering a supportive, engaged, and thriving environment for all of CGMH’s team members.
