Vice President, Hospital Development
Cathy Renaud joined CGMH as Vice President, Hospital Development in 2025.
Cathy is an accomplished and strategic healthcare leader with extensive experience in capital development, facilities operations, and large-scale redevelopment projects. She joins CGMH from William Osler Health System, where she served as Vice President, Facilities Operations and Capital Development. In this role, she led the Capital Development team, overseeing major capital planning initiatives, including large-scale redevelopment projects, master planning and programming engagements, and master space planning exercises, while also providing overall leadership to the Facilities Operations portfolio.
At Osler, Cathy led high-profile projects including Peel Memorial Phase 2 and the Brampton Civic Comprehensive Cancer Center, and held leadership roles on the Etobicoke General New Patient Tower, Etobicoke Wellness Center, and Peel Memorial Center for Ambulatory Care Phase 1 projects.
A Registered Nurse by background, Cathy holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Certificate in Gerontology from Laurentian University, a Certificate in Critical Care from George Brown College, and a Master of Health Management from McMaster University. She is also a graduate of the IDEAS program through Health Quality Ontario and holds the Certified Health Executive designation from the Canadian College of Health Leaders.
