Lisa van Kolfschoten joined the Collingwood General and Marine Hospital in 2013. As the Communications Officer for the hospital, she is responsible for strategic communications planning and public relations, inclusive of all internal and external communications, hospital events, social media and web content.

Before joining CGMH, Lisa worked in the Communications and Marketing Department at Humber College and Georgian College, over a three year span. Earlier in her career, Lisa worked for seven years as an online editor for Toronto.com, a division of Torstar Digital, and as a freelance writer for various online sites and local lifestyle magazines.

Lisa holds a Bachelor of Journalism degree from Ryerson University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media, Information and Technoculture from the University of Western Ontario.
