Laboratory Services

CGMH's Laboratory provides a full range of testing for patients admitted to the Hospital. Outpatient testing is limited to pre-operative and pre-natal patients. Testing may also be provided on an outpatient basis for patients receiving chemotherapy.

The Laboratory is open for limited outpatient testing Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to noon.

Inpatient tests in Haematology, Biochemistry and Immunohaematology are performed onsite. Microbiology and other tests are referred to other facilities.
