Hand hygiene must be strictly followed for all visitors and staff. Liquid hand sanitizers are located in the lobby and throughout the hospital. Please ensure you clean your hands as soon as you enter the Hospital, before and after eating, before and after visiting a patient and just before you leave the Hospital.
Ensuring your hands are properly cleaned is for your safety as well as for our patients and staff.

RSV Outbreak Declared on Medical Unit
In consultation with the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU), an RSV outbreak has been declared on CGMH’s Medical Unit.
CGMH understands that visitors are an important part of the healing process. At this time, patients may have one visitor at a time.
Visitors are asked to:
Adhere to the hospital's PPE guidelines.
Practice proper hand hygiene.
Wear a mask for the duration of your visit.
