CGMH is Recruiting Patient and Family Members to Help Improve Healthcare Services and the Patient Experience
Collingwood General and Marine Hospital (CGMH) is committed to incorporating the patient and family member’s voice into decision making processes across the hospital, in an effort to improve the patient experience and plan for the enhanced delivery of safe and high quality healthcare services.
In an effort to do so, CGMH is recruiting for both Patient and Family Advisors and Patient, Family and Caregiver Advisory Committee members.
“At CGMH, our goal is to build the patient and family voice into as many forums as possible to help inform decision making across the organization to improve healthcare services and the patient experience,” says Rosemary Frketich, Vice President of Patient Services and CNE.
Patient and Family Advisors are members of the community that have used the hospital’s services or have supported a family member while at CGMH who are looking to provide input or feedback to improve the patient experience, through participation on a hospital committee, or by providing input into hospital projects and initiatives.
Patient, Family and Caregiver Advisory Committee members participate on an advisory body to the hospital which provides the patient, family or caregiver perspective and advice on strategic health priorities, which impact health care experiences.
Interested community members are invited to submit an application through the online recruitment form here, or scan the QR code.
